Five Tastes is back for another dinner this season at Skinners Loft in Jersey City and celebrating one of the most iconic spirits in the world. Tequila and Mezcal.

Both made from the hearts of pinas or the agave plant, there are many similarities but dynamic differences that will make this dinner different than the rest.

The Five Tastes chef team is heavily rooted in a Latin American background. Juan and Kleber being from Ecuador, Eric Maldonado rooted from Puerto Rico, Cedric Gayon born and raised on the west coast neighboring the country of Mexico where tequila and mezcal is produced. This menu is going to be inspired by some of our most favorite bites that define Coastal Mexican comfort foods with Five Tastes inspired style.

This menu will have a beverage pairing developed by Five Tastes Creative Beverage Director, Eric Maldonado who will take Tequila and Mezcal as the guide to this pairing experience. This will be a 6 course pairing experience.
